Great find as we were visiting the area, food was awesome! Bartender was also awesome, sometimes they don't serve you very well if you aren't drinking and only eating but she was GREAT and I really appreciate it!
Originally, we went there looking for a place to eat dinner, but unfortunately, there weren’t any tables, there was Bahr seating only so we didn’t have food. It had a nice vibe and they were plenty of tables to play at. Great spot if you’re in the pool.
Well, time to update my review. It's been over a year since we celebrated our one year anniversary here. On September 7, 2024, we got MARRIED here by the owner, Christyne, who is also an officiant. We closed down the bar and had 45 of our closest friends and family attend with an open bar and traditional tavern 14 food and music! And of course Brandy was our bartender! The hostess with the mostest! ____________ On 7/31/22, my BF surprised me last night for our one year anniversary. We met one year ago for our FIRST DATE here at Tavern 14 so for our anniversary he wanted to recreate that day one year ago. As if this was not sweet enough, we walk in and he has a table “reserved” for us that he covered in white linen, with a single rose and linen napkins. And then, the SAME awesome waitress (Brandi) that waited on us on our first date brought us over the same drinks we ordered a year ago- Tito’s and pineapple for me and a chilled shot of crown and a modelo for him. And again, if this wasn’t enough, he pre-ordered our dinner, the same diner we ordered a year ago- we split a cheesesteak sandwich and a buffalo shrimp wrap. I would like to thank the manager, Clair, for coordinating everything and the owner Christine, for coordinating and allowing us to spend this special moment together.
This place is freakin’ exceptional! I think the food is worth the price. Fresh fries, hot chicken, and possibly the most delicious burger I have ever eaten! I’m not typically a fan of large meat patties that have some red in them, but for some reason I just couldn’t get enough of this burger. It was so flavorful and delicious that I just might have to try it with the chili next time, and I am not a chili fan! This little business should be proud of themselves. Thanks for the fantastic service! I can’t wait to return.
Wings are amazing, crispy perfection and sauces were tasty. Lots of good apps and other typical fare. Most everything is fried but that's to be expected. Huge wraparound bar and lots of pool tables in great shape.

Excellent spot! Very relaxed. Bartenders were excellent to deal with. The other customers were very friendly. If you are in Wilmington I highly recommend it. I will be back!
A very cool bar with many pool tables. I am sober but I saw the menu pictures of the chicken wings and ordered some and some fries..the wings looked even better than pictured and tasted great... Great food and laid back atmosphere for sure.
